Terms of Service

1. Who we are

legit ("legit", "we", "us", "our") is a web application that analyzes online "make money" posts and returns an automated feasibility score and written breakdown. By using legit you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service is, and is not

legit provides informational analysis only. Scores, breakdowns, and community reports are opinions and estimates generated by software and other users. They are not financial, legal, investment, tax, or professional advice, and they are not guarantees of any outcome. You are responsible for your own decisions. Do not rely on legit as your sole basis for any financial choice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use legit.

4. Accounts and early access

Some features require you to provide an email address or create an account. You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your access. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

5. Subscriptions and billing

legit offers a free tier and a paid subscription, legit Unlimited, at 7.00 USD per month. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period and you are not charged again. Prices may change with notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. This includes not attempting to disrupt or overload the service, not scraping or harvesting data through automated means, not submitting unlawful content, and not using legit to harass, defame, or harm others. Community reports you submit must be honest and your own experience.

7. Content and intellectual property

The legit name, design, and software are owned by us. You retain ownership of text you submit, but by submitting community reports you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and aggregate that content within the service. We may remove content at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scores are accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, legit and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules.
